For Analytical Minds · Online, in English
There's nothing wrong with that. It's simply how you get there. A space where I give you the concept first, in plain language and with an everyday example — so your mind has something to hold onto before we go near the feeling.
When feelings don't come with words yet
Maybe when someone says «tell me how you feel about it», your mind goes quiet — like it's looking at a map with no roads drawn on it yet. It's not that nothing is there. It's that the feeling on its own isn't where you start: you need the how first, what's actually happening and why, before there's anywhere for the feeling to land.
That's not resistance, and it's not coldness. It's a mind that processes differently — the same mind that got you through moving to a new country, learning a profession in a second language, starting over without an instruction manual. For engineers who migrated, remote developers, accountants who rebuilt a career from zero, your head is already carrying more variables than most people's. A clear framework doesn't compete with feeling. It's what finally makes room for it.
Who's with you
I'm a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years of clinical experience, trained in systemic family therapy. I'm Colombian, based in Barranquilla, and I see clients online. Before any title, I'm someone who understands what it's like to hold two languages and two worlds at once. Many of the people I work with in English think in Spanish first — engineers, developers, analysts — and more than a few of them need the concept explained before they can talk about what they feel. You don't have to apologize for that here.
If understanding the "how" is what lets your guard down, that's exactly where we'll start. At your pace, no pressure.

My approach
I won't ask you to talk about emotions before you're ready for that. What works is giving you the concept first — in plain language, with an example you can actually picture — so there's something concrete to hold before we go near the feeling.
I don't open a session with "how does that make you feel." I open with a short, named idea — something like what one author calls "functional demands" — explained the way I'd explain it to a colleague, not read out of a textbook.
Every session opens with a small, clear concept, walked through with an everyday example. Once the mechanism makes sense, there's something concrete to work with — and the guard usually comes down on its own.
For migrant engineers, remote developers, accountants who started over — your mind is already handling more variables than most. A clear framework isn't in the way of feeling. It's what finally gives it space.
How we start
Message me on WhatsApp or leave your details in the form. We'll set up a first 60-minute video-call session, at a reduced rate (50% off).
In that first session I listen to your story and identify the specific ideas that will help things make sense to you — no rushed diagnoses, no jargon that isn't explained in plain terms first.
You decide with real information, not blindly. If it feels right for you, we agree on a process built around you. If not, I'll still point you toward what you need.
You don't have to feel first to begin. Understanding how something works can be the door that lets you feel it.
