Procrastination Therapy · Online, in English
Professional psychological support for procrastination, in English — from someone who thinks the way you do. A space to understand the emotional conflict behind putting things off — not just a lack of discipline — and build a different relationship with your tasks.
When you know what to do and still can't
You know what you need to do. You even want to do it. And you still put it off, and then you punish yourself for that, which makes you want to start even less. It's not laziness: it's a real conflict between what you feel right now and what you need down the road. For a lot of people building a life between two languages, that freeze shows up in specific places — the paperwork in a language that still isn't fully yours, the hard phone call you keep rescheduling, the weight of feeling like you should already be making the most of an opportunity that cost your family so much.
The world around you says "just get started," as if it were only about willpower. But chronic procrastination almost always hides something else — fear of failing, perfectionism, exhaustion — and you get through it by understanding that, not with another to-do list.
Who's with you
I'm a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years of experience, trained in systemic family therapy. I'm Colombian, based in Barranquilla, and I see clients online. But before any title, I'm someone who understands what it's like to hold two languages and two worlds at once. Many of the people I work with in English think in Spanish first — they migrated, or grew up shuttling between countries, or carry the pressure of an opportunity everyone around them says they should be grateful for. You don't have to explain that part to me first.
Procrastination is easier to work through with someone next to you. If this feels like the moment, let's take the first step together — at your pace, no pressure.

Systemic-Relational Approach
Evidence-based
My approach
I work from a systemic-relational, evidence-based approach: I don't look at your procrastination as a lack of willpower, but as an emotional response that can be understood and changed.
We look together at what emotion you're avoiding when you procrastinate — fear, boredom, overload — because that's usually where the key is, not in the task itself.
Punishing yourself for procrastinating only feeds the cycle. We work on a relationship with yourself that doesn't need self-criticism to get you moving.
Motivation doesn't always show up before you act. We build small, specific steps that don't depend on "feeling like it."
How we start
Message me on WhatsApp or leave your details in the form. We'll set up a first 60-minute video-call session, at a reduced rate (50% off).
In that first session I listen to where you procrastinate the most and what you've already tried. No rushed diagnoses, no jargon — just understanding, together, what you need.
You decide with real information, not blindly. If it feels right for you, we agree on a process built around you. If not, I'll still point you toward what you need.
It's not about having more discipline. It's about understanding what you're avoiding feeling when you put things off.

Before you book
It isn't a diagnosis on its own, but it can be a symptom of anxiety, perfectionism, or burnout. In the assessment session we look at what's behind it in your case.
Coaching works on organization techniques. Therapy works on the emotional root — fear, perfectionism, exhaustion — that keeps those techniques from working.
It varies depending on your situation; we define it together after the first session.
Yes, we can work on one specific area of your life without needing to address everything at once.
Yes. Sessions are in English, and you never have to translate your story first — I understand what it's like to move between both languages.
