Anger Therapy · Online, in English
Professional psychological support for anger, in English — from someone who thinks the way you do. A space to tell frustration from anger, understand why the second one takes over, and stop it from landing on the people who deserve it least.
The distinction that brings relief
You didn't come into this world with a short fuse. Most likely, growing up, you never had a safe place to fail, lose, or feel frustrated without it turning into a catastrophe — so your body never built the muscle to tolerate that feeling. What you call "my temper" is usually just frustration with nowhere to go. And for a lot of people living between two languages, the pressure to never slip compounds it: you can't raise your voice in a meeting conducted in your second language, you can't tell your family back home that you're struggling here, so the frustration that had no exit all day finally lands at home — with your partner, with your kids, with the people who had the least to do with causing it.
Therapy doesn't ask you to just calm down or grit your teeth harder. It helps you catch the moment right before the explosion, put a name on what you're actually feeling, and build the practice your body never got — so frustration can pass through you instead of running you over.
Does this sound like you?
You believe anger is just who you are — a fixed trait, something you were born with and can't retrain.
It's not that you're weak — your muscle for tolerating frustration was simply never trained.
The pressure of building a life in a language and a country that aren't the ones you grew up in leaves you even less room to practice frustration without it turning into anger.
Who's with you
I'm a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years working with people who struggle with anger and frustration, trained in systemic family therapy. I'm Colombian, based in Barranquilla, and I see clients online. But before any title, I'm someone who understands what it's like to hold two languages and two worlds at once. Many of the people I work with in English think in Spanish first — they hold their temper all day in a language that isn't their first one, and then don't have anywhere to put it down. You don't have to explain that part to me first.
Anger is easier to work through with someone next to you. If this feels like the moment, let's take the first step together — at your pace, no pressure.

Systemic-Relational Approach
Emotions as a trained skill, not a fixed trait
My approach
I work from a systemic-relational approach: I don't treat your anger as a fixed identity to manage, but as a skill you never got to practice — shaped by your story, your relationships, and the pressure of building a life across two languages and two countries.
"I'm just like this" becomes "I never practiced this." We look at where that gap came from — the childhood, the moves, the pressure to never fail — so the change reaches the root, not just the outburst.
We work on catching frustration early — naming it in your body, naming it in words — and building the pause that anger never gave you a chance to have.
The goal isn't only fewer outbursts. It's rebuilding trust with the people who ended up on the receiving end — usually the ones with the least to do with what set you off.
How we start
Message me on WhatsApp or leave your details in the form. We'll set up a first 60-minute video-call session, at a reduced rate (50% off).
In that first session I listen to your story, what tends to set you off, and how anger shows up in your day to day. No rushed diagnoses, no jargon — just understanding, together, what you need.
You decide with real information, not blindly. If it feels right for you, we agree on a process built around you. If not, I'll still point you toward what you need.
You don't have trouble with anger. You have trouble with frustration — and emotional skill is something you build by practicing the emotion, not by avoiding it.

Breathing exercises and counting to ten can help in the moment, but they don't explain why the frustration built up that far in the first place. That first session is where we start mapping your specific pattern — what triggers it, what it costs you, and who ends up carrying it.
No pressure to continue afterward. You leave with clarity either way.
