Anxiety Therapy · Online, in English
Professional psychological support for anxiety, in English — from someone who thinks the way you do. A space to understand what set off your internal alarm, calm your body, and get your day back, without translating yourself first.
When the alarm won't turn off
Your chest tightens for no clear reason. Your mind runs ahead to the worst case. Sleep doesn't come because the thoughts won't stop. You're not overreacting and you're not «losing it»: your alarm system got stuck in the on position, and living on guard all the time wears you down. For a lot of people who move between Spanish and English every day, that alarm learned its habits early — in a house where being nervous wasn't something you named out loud, or in the years you had to become the responsible one in a language that wasn't yours yet.
Therapy doesn't tell you to calm down or ask you for willpower. It helps you understand what keeps that alarm switched on, and gives your body and mind new ways to respond — so calm stops being something you chase and goes back to being where you live.
Who's with you
I'm a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years working with people who live with anxiety, trained in systemic family therapy. I'm Colombian, based in Barranquilla, and I see clients online. But before any title, I'm someone who understands what it's like to hold two languages and two worlds at once. Many of the people I work with in English think in Spanish first — they migrated, or grew up shuttling between countries, or had to become the adult of the family in a language nobody taught them for that job. You don't have to explain that part to me first.
Anxiety is easier to work through with someone next to you. If this feels like the moment, let's take the first step together — at your pace, no pressure.

My approach
I work from a systemic-relational approach: I don't look at your anxiety as a symptom to switch off, but as something shaped by your story, your relationships, and the demands — family, cultural, financial — that keep it running.
We don't stop at techniques that just mute the symptom. We look at what's keeping your anxiety switched on — your story, your relationships, expectations that followed you across borders — so the change reaches the root instead of patching the surface.
Anxiety lives in the body: breathing, tension, sleep. We work with that too, so calm isn't just an idea in your head — it's something you actually feel.
The goal isn't only to feel less anxious. It's for you to return to what anxiety took from you — decisions, relationships, plans, and rest — without fear holding the wheel.
How we start
Message me on WhatsApp or leave your details in the form. We'll set up a first 60-minute video-call session, at a reduced rate (50% off).
In that first session I listen to your story, what you've been feeling, and how anxiety shows up in your day to day. No rushed diagnoses, no jargon — just understanding, together, what you need.
You decide with real information, not blindly. If it feels right for you, we agree on a process built around you. If not, I'll still point you toward what you need.
The goal isn't a life without fear. It's that fear stops being in charge, and you get to choose again.
