Breakup Therapy · Online · In English
Professional support in English for ending a relationship — even when your people are a flight away, your family back home doesn't quite understand what happened, and you're rebuilding a life in a city where you're still learning who to call.
When a breakup crosses a border
Maybe the person you just ended things with was also the one who knew your landlord, translated the fine print, and was the first call you made about anything. Now the apartment feels too big, and the people who'd normally sit with you through this are a time zone away — asleep when the missing hits hardest.
And maybe your family calls to ask what happened, and you find yourself explaining it in a language that doesn't quite hold the words — translating not just the relationship, but the whole life you'd built around it. That's not you overreacting. Ending something you built far from home is its own kind of loss, and it deserves its own kind of care — not a rushed "you'll be fine."
Who's with you
I'm a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years accompanying people through breakups and loss, trained in systemic family therapy. That training means I don't just look at you in isolation — I look at the bond itself, the people around it, and what its ending is asking you to rebuild. I live and practice from Barranquilla, Colombia, and I work with clients online, in English. I think in Spanish too, and I understand what it means to close a chapter across a border, a screen, or a language.
A breakup is easier to carry with someone beside you. If this feels like the moment, let's take the first step together — at your pace, no strings attached.

My approach
I work from a systemic-relational approach: I don't treat your breakup as a failure to get over quickly, but as part of your history, your bonds, and — for many of the people I work with — a chapter that also closed across a border.
We look at the bond itself — what it gave you, what it asked of you, and the patterns you brought into it — so you understand what happened without turning it into a verdict on yourself.
Family back home may want you "over it" fast, and the life you built here doesn't pause either. You don't owe anyone a timeline — we work from wherever you actually are today.
If you moved for or around this relationship, part of the work is sorting out what's actually yours to keep — your friendships, your routines, your sense of home — apart from what you built around them.
How we begin
Message me on WhatsApp or leave your details in the form. We'll book a first 60-minute video session, at a reduced rate (50% off).
In that first session, I listen to your story — what the relationship meant, how it ended, and how you've been carrying it, wherever in the world you're carrying it from. No rushed diagnoses, no jargon: just understanding, together, what you need.
You decide with real information, not blindly. If it feels right, we build a process suited to you. If not, I'll still point you toward what you need.
This isn't about forgetting the person you loved. It's about no longer needing them back to feel like yourself again.
