Burnout Therapy · Online, in English
Professional psychological support for burnout, in English — from someone who thinks the way you do. A space to understand where the exhaustion comes from, set real boundaries, and rebuild a livable relationship with your work, without translating yourself first.
When there's nothing left to give
You wake up tired even after sleeping. Tasks you used to enjoy now take everything out of you, and it feels like you can't perform the way you used to — or like performing is the only thing that matters. It's not laziness and it's not a lack of discipline: it's a system that's been running on alert for too long, without real rest. For a lot of people holding two countries at once, that alert never really turns off — there's the day job, and then the second job, and the money that has to make it home every month, because people back there are counting on it.
The people around you expect you to keep going, to hold on a little longer, to tell yourself «this will pass too.» But burnout doesn't resolve with a vacation: it takes understanding what in your life — your work, your boundaries, your own expectations of yourself — is pushing you to the edge, and building something different.
Who's with you
I'm a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years working with people carrying too much for too long, trained in systemic family therapy. I'm Colombian, based in Barranquilla, and I see clients online. But before any title, I'm someone who understands what it's like to hold two languages and two worlds at once. Many of the people I work with in English are the ones who became the responsible one — the one who sends money home, the one who can't afford to slow down. You don't have to explain that part to me first.
Burnout is easier to work through with someone next to you. If this feels like the moment, let's take the first step together — at your pace, no pressure.

My approach
I work from a systemic-relational approach: I don't see your exhaustion as a personal failure, but as something shaped by your work context, your relationships, and the demands — your own and other people's — that you carry.
Not all burnout looks the same. We look together at what mix of outside demands and inside pressure got you here, without minimizing it or turning it into a diagnosis.
It's not about saying no once. We work on real, sustainable boundaries with your job, your boss, the family counting on you, and yourself.
I help you let go of the idea that your worth depends on how much you produce, so you can find meaning again — not just endurance — in what you do.
How we start
Message me on WhatsApp or leave your details in the form. We'll set up a first 60-minute video-call session, at a reduced rate (50% off).
In that first session I listen to your work situation and your personal one, how long you've been feeling this way and what you've already tried. No rushed diagnoses — just understanding, together, what you need.
You decide with real information, not blindly. If it feels right for you, we agree on a process built around you. If not, I'll still point you toward what you need.
Rest isn't the goal. The goal is that your life stops depending on always being one step from breaking.

Before you book
Tiredness recovers with rest. Burnout is exhaustion that persists even after you rest, along with distance or cynicism toward work and the feeling that you can't perform anymore, no matter how hard you try. In the assessment session we look together at whether that's what you're going through.
There's no single formula: it depends on how long you've been feeling this way and how much you can change in your current work situation. We define it together after the first session.
Yes. The evidence supports teletherapy for burnout and work stress, and I use the same systemic-relational approach in both formats.
Not necessarily. We first work on your boundaries and your relationship with your current job. If afterward you decide a job change is what you need, I can support that decision too.
